Advanced Chemical and Instrumental Techniques for Industrial Applications

Course Overview

This MOOC course aims to train and develop competent manpower so as to acquire skills needed for certain industrial positions and to develop employability among the undergraduates and postgraduates in chemistry.

On successful completion of the course, students will be able to

  • 1) Acquire systematic and coherent understanding of the fundamental concepts of chromatography, voltammetry and analysis of various real samples.
  • 2) Demonstrate the basic principles of instrumental analysis.
  • 3) Execute experimental routines for the analysis.
  • 4) Operate advanced instruments like HPLC, GC-MS, electrochemical workstation and related soft-wares to execute the real sample analysis.
