About the Course:


The purpose of this course is to enhance the understanding of financial markets (especially on derivatives segment) among management students. This three/four credit course starts with a orientation on financial markets and moves on to various market segments, instruments and strategies.. The program aims to provide balanced insights to the conceptual understanding of market dynamics and practical aspects of option trading. The pedagogy includes discussions, lectures and hands on exercises on contextualized/live market data. This MOOC is primarily targeted to fulfill the MOOC requirements of students from affiliated colleges of CUSAT for completing MBA program.


Who Can Participate?


PG/UG level students from affiliated colleges of CUSAT interested in financial markets domain would benefit from this program. This MOOC is approved as a fulfillment of the mandatory MOOC requirement for MBA program under CUSAT. The course is offered as three/four credit course. Traders and executives in banking and stock/derivative trading firms shall also benefit from this course
