The Director, Centre for the Development of e-Content (CDe-C) had requested for fixation of fee for MOOC courses. Considering the request of the Director and the minutes of the meeting to discuss the issue of offering MOOCs to students both inside and outside the University, the Vice Chancellor has approved the following, subject to ratification of the Syndicate.

For students of teaching departments/centres/schools of the University, a fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged for those MOOC courses which are not part of the curriculum of their academic programme. Details of such MOOC courses, successfully completed by the students, wil be added to their consolidated final mark list as audit courses mentioning the grade point and credits earned.

For students of recognized institutions of the University, a fee of Rs. 2000/- will be charged for the MOOC courses offered by the University. After successful completion of the MOOC course, the details of the grade point and credits earned wil be recorded in their mark lists. If the course is not part of the curriculum, it will be added as an audit course in the consolidated final mark list.

For students/participants from outside the University, a fee of Rs. 3000/- (plus 18% GST) will be charged for the MOOC courses offered by the University. The grade points and the credits earned wil be uploaded to their ABC account fi the students/participants have a valid ABC DI. For others, a certificate mentioning the grade points and the credits earned, duly signed by the Controller of Examinations, will be issued.
